Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Pie 2006 National Peanut Festival Overall Student Winner Melisa Huddleston Bonifay, FL Crust: 1 pkg. Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Bars - crushed 1 Tbs sugar 3/4 stick butter Melt butter and mix sugar and crumbs together to form crust in a pie plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Chocolate coating for crust: 8 oz. of chocolate morsels Filling: 8 oz. peanut butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar 16 oz. cool whip 8 oz. cream cheese 8 Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Bars - crushed Crust: Melt butter and mix sugar and crumbs together to form crust in a pie plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Chocolate Coating for Crust: Next, melt 8 oz. of chocolate morsels and pour over crust. Chill approx. 15 minutes. Filling: Mix together well. Pour filling on top of chocolate coated crust and chill 1/2 hour or until serving time. Top with extra whip topping adn decorate to your liking. Recipe Archives... National Peanut Festival Recipe Contest In conjunction with the National Peanut Festival, the Alabama Peanut Producers Association sponsors the NPF Recipe contest. There are four areas of competition: Cakes, Candies, Cookies and Pies. Last year's event recorded more than 260 entries. Prizes are awarded in each division, to an overall student winner and to an overall grand prize winner. Entrants must submit the food item along with the recipe on the morning of the judging.
