  National Peanut Growers Group

The NPGG is the national organization through which peanut producing states try to coordinate activities related to legislative and/or regulatory issues. The NPGG is the origination through which all growers attempt to present a unified voice in Washington. The Board consists of 17 members consisting of four from the Virginia/Carolina area and the southwest and nine from the southeast. Because of the regional divisions during the recent farm bill debate the NPGG has become ineffective and nonfunctioning.
