National Peanut Board The NPB administers the national peanut check-off. In addition to domestic and export promotion, the program adopted by growers requires that 20% of the funds collected be returned to the regions for production research. The board is comprised of ten board members and ten alternates. The composition is one member each from the nine major states and one at large representing the minor states.
